Cannot Install: Hangs at some point after reaching GUI

I just changed my whole system from AMD to Intel and I can no longer get OSx86 to install. Specs: nforce750i evga motherboard, 7800gtx graphics card, q6600 cpu, 4gb ram @1066mhz
I have tried a few install dvds and they all hang at the GUI. I tried maxmem=2048 and it didn't help. Does anyone have any ideas?? Thanks!!
